At PET S2DO dog training school, we see the training process as the integration and creation of a common language between you, your dog, his environment, and your family. Dogs are pack animals, and they need to find their place within your “pack”. For that reason, the entire training process is tailored to your family and the way your pet interacts and fits in it. We use positive reinforcement, and controlled distractions to change undesirable behaviors. Keeping your animal engaged and happy and above all, willing to please you. 

Basic obedience helps you to create that way of communication between you and your dog. Understanding how and when to reinforce a behavior will create a new level of partnership. We follow the guidelines of the AKC, evaluating you and your dog progress and giving you and him the opportunity to achieve certifications that later can be use as proof of training for other programs such as therapy dog or service dog certification.
